The 1^st Salon du Chocolat in Bordeaux

The first Salon du Chocolat in Bordeaux was held from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th March 2012, at Hangar 14 in partnership with Congrès et Expositions de Bordeaux. It won success and welcomed a large public.

Over 19,000 visitors came and meet local artisans during 3 days for a unique moment of gourmandise and discovery.

Some 55 participants delighted visitors on a 3,000sqm space dedicated to the magic of chocolate.

For its first edition in Bordeaux, the Salon du Chocolat proposed a programme based on the theme "Lands of Wine, Lands of Cocoa", notably with Master Classes run in duos by talented experts in the world of wine and of chocolate. All the ingredients and activites the Salon du Chocolat is famous for were there too, bringing pleasure and surprise to visitors.

Connoisseurs of traditional products, lovers of innovative products or simply gourmands can already mark their calendars: the Salon du Chocolat will be back in Bordeaux in 2013.
